Effective: September 10, 2010 Latest Legislation: House Bill 519 - 128th General Assembly (A) No casino operator, management company, holding company, gaming-related vendor, key employee, or casino gaming employee shall conduct or participate in conducting casino gaming without first obtaining a license from the commission. (B) Before a licensed casino operator may conduct casino gaming at a casino facility, a licensed casino operator shall engage a third-party engineering or accounting firm to certify expenses of its initial investment, as required by section 3772.27 of the Revised Code, and provide documentation to the commission. The third-party engineering or accounting firm shall be approved by the commission and shall certify expenses in accordance with rules adopted by the commission under section 3772.03 of the Revised Code. The commission may request the department of administrative services to assist the commission in carrying out its duties under this section.
