Effective: September 8, 2016 Latest Legislation: House Bill 359 - 131st General Assembly The wireless service provider or reseller shall notify the petitioner within seventy-two hours of receipt of the order and the order shall be automatically suspended upon making the notification if the wireless service provider or reseller cannot operationally or technically effectuate the order due to certain circumstances, including the following: (A) The account holder has already terminated the account. (B) Differences in network technology prevent the functionality of a device on the network. (C) There are geographic or other limitations on network or service availability. (D) Any other operational or technical issue that would prevent or impair the use of the wireless service number if the transfer occurs.
