Enforcing Obligations of Presumed Father.

A parent or caretaker of the child, or the child support enforcement agency of the county in which the child, parent, or caretaker of the child resides may do either of the following to require a man to pay support and provide for the health care needs of the child if the man is presumed to be the natural father of the child under section 3111.03 of the Revised Code:
(A) If the presumption is not based on an acknowledgment of paternity, file a complaint pursuant to section 2151.231 of the Revised Code in the juvenile court or other court with jurisdiction under section 2101.022 or 2301.03 of the Revised Code of the county in which the child, parent, or caretaker resides;
(B) Contact a child support enforcement agency to request assistance in obtaining an order for support and the provision of health care for the child.
