Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly A child support enforcement agency shall send a signed and notarized or witnessed acknowledgment of paternity to the office of child support in the department of job and family services pursuant to section 3111.23 of the Revised Code. The agency shall send the acknowledgment no later than ten days after it has been signed and notarized or witnessed. If the agency knows a man is presumed under section 3111.03 of the Revised Code to be the father of the child and the presumed father is not the man who signed an acknowledgment with respect to the child, the agency shall not notarize, witness, or send the acknowledgment with respect to the child pursuant to this section.
