Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The supreme court shall appoint such stenographers as are necessary for the prompt and efficient discharge of the business of said court, and shall fix the compensation to be paid therefor, which compensation shall be paid from the state treasury in monthly installments upon the certificate of the chief justice of the supreme court.
