1. Upon completion of the investigation of an applicant for assistance under this chapter, the human service zone or state agency shall determine, in accordance with the rules of the state agency: a. If the applicant may be provided assistance under the provisions of this chapter; b. The amount and type of any assistance the applicant may receive; and c. The date upon which such assistance may begin. 2. In all cases, a statement of the findings of the human service zone forthwith must be transmitted to the state agency.
