School district superintendent - Bond

A school district superintendent shall furnish to the school district a bond in an amount fixed 
by the board of the school district and equal to at least the maximum amount of money that may 
be subject to the superintendent's control at any one time. The bond must be conditioned for the 
faithful discharge of the superintendent's duties, including the maintenance of accurate financial 
records and the safekeeping and deliverance of all school property and funds that come under 
the superintendent's control. The bond must be written through the state bonding fund and must 
be obtained at the expense of the school district.
