Environmental quality bond act fund

§ 97-d. Environmental quality bond act fund. 1. There is hereby\nestablished in the custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner\nof taxation and finance a special fund, to be known as the\n"environmental quality bond act fund".\n  2. The comptroller shall establish two separate and distinct accounts\nwithin the environmental quality bond act fund; (a) hazardous waste\nremediation and municipal solid waste landfill closure account; and (b)\nforest preserve, historic preservation, municipal park and\nenvironmentally sensitive lands account.\n  3. All moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds or notes\nfor the purpose stated in paragraph a of section four of the\nenvironmental quality bond act of nineteen hundred eighty-six shall be\ndeposited by the comptroller in the hazardous waste remediation and\nmunicipal solid waste landfill closure account established by the\ncomptroller pursuant to the provisions of subdivision two of this\nsection.\n  4. All moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds or notes\nfor the purpose stated in paragraph b of section four of the\nenvironmental quality bond act of nineteen hundred eighty-six shall be\ndeposited by the comptroller in the forest preserve, historic\npreservation, municipal park and environmentally sensitive lands account\nestablished by the comptroller pursuant to the provisions of subdivision\ntwo of this section.\n  5. Moneys in any account of this fund, following appropriation by the\nlegislature and allocation by the director of the budget, shall be\navailable only for the reimbursement of expenditures made from\nappropriations from the capital projects fund for the purpose as set\nforth in the environmental quality bond act of nineteen hundred\neighty-six.\n
