* § 97-cccc. Erie canal museum fund. 1. There is hereby established in\nthe joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of\ntaxation and finance a fund to be known as the Erie canal museum fund.\n 2. Such fund shall consist of all moneys collected pursuant to section\nfour hundred four-u of the vehicle and traffic law, and all other moneys\ncredited or transferred thereto from any other fund or source pursuant\nto law, provided that section four hundred four-u of the vehicle and\ntraffic law shall control the method of payment for the costs of\nproducing the distinctive license plates authorized pursuant to such\nsection of law.\n 3. Moneys of the fund shall be expended for the benefit of the\nprograms of the Erie Canal Museum, Inc. Moneys shall be paid out of the\nfund on the audit and warrant of the state comptroller on vouchers\napproved by the chairman of the board of trustees of the Erie Canal\nMuseum, Inc. Any interest received by the comptroller on moneys on\ndeposit in the Erie canal museum fund shall be retained in and become\npart of such fund. No money from such fund may be withdrawn,\ntransferred, or used by any person for any purpose other than as\npermitted by this section.\n * NB There are 4 § 97-cccc's\n
