New York city county clerks' operations offset fund

§ 94-a. New York city county clerks' operations offset fund. 1. There\nis hereby established in the joint custody of the state comptroller and\nthe commissioner of taxation and finance a fund to be known as the "New\nYork city county clerks' operations offset fund."\n  2. Such fund shall consist of the moneys transferred thereto by the\ncomptroller pursuant to this section.\n  3. On or before April twentieth in each year commencing with April\ntwentieth, nineteen hundred ninety-five, the chief administrator shall\ndetermine and certify to the comptroller the amount of the aggregate\nreceipts derived by the state from the fees specified in paragraphs one\nand two of subdivision (f) of section eight thousand twenty and section\neight thousand twenty-one of the civil practice law and rules during the\nfiscal year ending the preceding March thirty-first. That amount shall\nthereupon transferred by the comptroller from the general fund to the\nNew York city county clerks' operations offset fund.\n  4. All moneys in the New York city county clerks' operations offset\nfund shall be available, subject to appropriation, for the payment of\nservices and expenses of the offices of the county clerks in the city of\nNew York, including liabilities incurred in a prior fiscal year but\nexcluding services rendered and expenses incurred by those offices in\ndischarge of a county clerk's powers and duties as commissioner of\njurors.\n  5. All payments of moneys from the New York city county clerks'\noperations offset fund shall be made on the audit and warrant of the\ncomptroller on vouchers certified or approved by the chief administrator\nof the courts.\n
