§ 111. Definitions. 1. As used in section 1641 of this chapter and in\nsections 1901 and 1911 of this chapter, the terms "real property" and\n"lands" are co-extensive in meaning with lands, tenements and\nhereditaments.\n 2. As used in section 1921, the term "real property" includes lands,\ntenements and hereditaments and chattels real, except a lease for a term\nnot exceeding three years.\n 3. As used in this chapter the term "incompetent" or "incompetent\nperson" means a person incompetent to manage his affairs of whose\nproperty a committee has been appointed pursuant to section 78.03 or a\nperson of whose property a committee has been appointed pursuant to\nsection 78.07 of the mental hygiene law.\n 4. As used in this chapter the term "infant" or "minor" means a person\nwho has not attained the age of eighteen years.\n 5. As used in this chapter, the term "conservatee" means a person\nunder substantial impairment within the meaning of the conservatorship\nprovisions of article seventy-seven of the mental hygiene law for whom a\nconservator has been appointed.\n
