§ 165.10  Auto stripping in the second degree.\n  A person is guilty of auto stripping in the second degree when:\n  1. He or she commits the offense of auto stripping in the third degree\nand when he or she has been previously convicted within the last five\nyears of having violated the provisions of section 165.09 or this\nsection; or\n  2. He or she removes or intentionally destroys, defaces, disguises, or\nalters any part of two or more vehicles, other than abandoned vehicles,\nas defined in subdivision one of section one thousand two hundred\ntwenty-four of the vehicle and traffic law, without the permission of\nthe owner, and the value of the parts of vehicles removed, destroyed,\ndefaced, disguised, or altered exceeds an aggregate value of one\nthousand dollars.\n  Auto stripping in the second degree is a class E felony.\n
