§ 980-q. Severability. If any provision of any section of this article\nor the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be\nadjudged invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such order or\njudgment shall be confined in its operation to the controversy in which\nit was rendered and shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of any\nprovisions of any section of this article or the application of any part\nthereof to any other person or circumstance and to this end the\nprovisions of each section of this article are hereby declared to be\nseverable.\n
