§ 195-n. Manufacturers of bell jars; reports and records.  * 1.\nDistribution; manufacturers. For business conducted in this state,\nmanufacturers licensed by the board to sell bell jar tickets shall sell\nonly such tickets to distributors licensed by the board. Manufacturers\nof bell jar tickets, seal cards, merchandise boards, and coin boards may\nsubmit samples, artists' renderings, or color photocopies of proposed\nbell jar tickets, seal cards, merchandise boards, coin boards, payout\ncards, and flares for review and approval by the board. Within thirty\ndays of receipt of such sample or rendering, the board shall approve or\ndeny such bell jar tickets. Following approval of a rendering of a bell\njar ticket, seal card, merchandise board, or coin board by the board,\nthe manufacturer shall submit to the board a sample of the printed bell\njar ticket, seal card, merchandise board, coin board, payout card, and\nflare for such game. Such sample shall be submitted prior to the sale of\nthe game to any licensed distributor for resale in this state. For coin\nboards and merchandise boards, nothing herein shall require the\nsubmittal of actual coins or merchandise as part of the approval\nprocess. Any licensed manufacturer who willfully violates the provisions\nof this section shall: (a) upon such first offense, have their license\nsuspended for a period of thirty days; (b) upon such second offense,\nparticipate in a hearing to be conducted by the board, and surrender\ntheir license for such period as recommended by the board; and (c) upon\nsuch third or subsequent offense, have their license suspended for a\nperiod of one year and shall be guilty of a class E felony. Any\nunlicensed manufacturer who violates the provisions of this section\nshall be guilty of a class E felony.\n  * NB Effective until December 19, 2026\n  * 1. Distribution; manufacturers. For business conducted in this\nstate, manufacturers licensed by the commission to sell bell jar tickets\nor electronic bell jar vending machines shall sell only such tickets or\nvending machines to distributors licensed by the commission.\nManufacturers of bell jar tickets, seal cards, merchandise boards, and\ncoin boards may submit samples, artists' renderings, or color\nphotocopies of proposed bell jar tickets, seal cards, merchandise\nboards, coin boards, payout cards, and flares for review and approval by\nthe commission.
