§ 96. Payment of fines in traffic cases. It shall be unlawful for any\nperson, firm or corporation to advertise in any manner that for a fee a\ntraffic summons will be presented and a fine paid into the court, or to\nagree that for a fee a traffic summons will be presented and a fine paid\nor to present any traffic summons and pay a fine for a fee into the\ncourt.\n Any person, firm or corporation which violates any provision of this\nlaw shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of\nnot more than fifty dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than thirty\ndays for default in the payment of said fine, or by both such fine and\nimprisonment.\n
