Recognition of tourist promotion agencies

§ 163. Recognition of tourist promotion agencies. The commissioner,\nupon investigation and receipt of certified copies of such resolutions\nas may be necessary to satisfy him that a tourist promotion agency has\nbeen duly designated to represent a particular county or counties or the\ncity of New York, as set forth in section one hundred sixty-four of this\narticle, shall recognize such tourist promotion agency as the sole such\nagency within such county or counties or the city of New York. Any two\nor more counties may, by the procedures herein provided, designate a\nsingle tourist promotion agency to represent them for the promotion of\ntourism in their region and for the purposes of this act.\n
