§ 9016. Change of name. By resolution adopted by a vote of two-thirds\nof all its directors, at a meeting held for the purpose, a corporation\nmay change its corporate name, but such change shall not be effective\nunless it shall have been approved by the superintendent. If the\nsuperintendent shall approve, he shall issue, under his hand and the\nofficial seal of the department, in triplicate, a certificate\nauthorizing such change of name to become effective, and stating the\ntime at which such change shall become effective, which certificates\nshall be transmitted and filed in the same manner as authorization\ncertificates.\n
