The department shall design the electronic credential in a manner that allows the credential holder to maintain physical possession of the device on which the electronic credential is accessed during verification. History: 1978 Comp., § 66-5-604, enacted by Laws 2024, ch. 13, § 10. Effective dates. — Laws 2024, ch. 13 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective May 15, 2024, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
