The provisions of Sections 63-7-20 through 63-7-22 NMSA 1978 shall not apply to pipelines that are used for the transportation of oil, natural gas or the products thereof. The 2023 amendment, effective July 1, 2024, added certain statutory references, and removed common or contract motor carriers or aircraft carriers from the exemption provisions of this section; added the section heading "Exemptions"; and after "The provisions of", changed "this act" to "Sections 63-7-20 through 63-7-22 NMSA 1978", and after "products thereof", deleted "neither shall the provisions of this act apply to common or contract motor carriers or aircraft carriers transporting passengers or property for hire".
