The provisions of the Criminal Offender Employment Act [28-2-1 to 28-2-6 NMSA 1978] shall govern any consideration of criminal records required or permitted by the Signed Language Interpreting Practices Act. History: Laws 2007, ch. 248, § 16. Effective dates. — Laws 2007, ch. 248 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 15, 2007, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
