The provisions of the Criminal Offender Employment Act [28-2-1 to 28-2-6 NMSA 1978] shall govern consideration of criminal records required or permitted by the Respiratory Care Act. The 2001 amendment, effective June 15, 2001, rewrote the section which formerly read "No person shall be required to be licensed as a respiratory care practitioner until October 1, 1984."
