The Uniform Federal Lien Registration Act shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its general purpose: to make uniform the law of those states which enact it. History: 1953 Comp., § 61-1-12, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 253, § 5; 1988, ch. 44, § 4. The 1988 amendment, effective May 18, 1988, substituted "The Uniform Federal Lien Registration Act" for "This act".
