Chapter 40, Article 13 NMSA 1978 may be cited as the "Family Violence Protection Act". History: Laws 1987, ch. 286, § 1; 1999, ch. 142, § 1. The 1999 amendment, effective July 1, 1999, substituted "Chapter 40, Article 13 NMSA 1978" for "this act".
