A. The "vocational rehabilitation division" is created within the department. B. The secretary shall appoint a director of the vocational rehabilitation division to be known as the "director of vocational rehabilitation". History: 1953 Comp., § 77-12-6, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 16, § 196; 2005, ch. 328, § 6. The 2005 amendment, effective June 17, 2005, deleted the former provision in Subsection B that with the approval of the state board, the state superintendent shall appoint a director; provided in Subsection B that the secretary shall appoint a director; and deleted former Subsection C, which provided that the state board may delegate to the vocational rehabilitation division its administrative functions relating to vocational rehabilitation.
