Any person subject to Chapter 20 NMSA 1978 who: A. violates or fails to obey any lawful general order or regulation; B. having knowledge of any other lawful order issued by a member of the armed forces, which it is his duty to obey, fails to obey the order; or C. is derelict in the performance of his duties; shall be punished as a court-martial may direct. History: 1978 Comp., § 20-12-27, enacted by Laws 1989, ch. 337, § 26. Effective dates. — Laws 1989, ch. 337 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 16, 1989.
