58:5-10. Hearing on proposition; notice Upon the filing of such petition, the district water supply commission shall, after obtaining the consent of the state water policy commission, or its successor, to the diversion of waters for such water supply, as required by section 58:1-17 of this title, fix a time and place for a public hearing upon the application, and shall thereupon give notice of such hearing by publication by one insertion in at least one newspaper printed and published in each of the counties lying within the water supply district at least fifteen days prior to the hearing, at which hearing all persons and municipalities affected by the proposed plans may be heard for or against the granting of the application.
