Nevada Code § 641.316

Injunction against person practicing without license, authorization, registration or provisional license

1. The Board through its President or
Secretary-Treasurer or the Attorney General may maintain in any court of
competent jurisdiction a suit for an injunction against any person practicing:
(a) Psychology without a license or authorization
to practice psychology in this State pursuant to the Psychology
Interjurisdictional Compact enacted in NRS
641.227 ;
(b) Behavioral health promotion and prevention
without a license; or
(c) As a psychological assistant, psychological
intern or psychological trainee without a registration or provisional license,
as applicable.
2. Such an injunction:
(a) May be issued without proof of actual damage
sustained by any person, this provision being a preventive as well as a
punitive measure.
(b) Does not relieve any person from criminal
prosecution for practicing without a license, registration or provisional
license.
