1. If a genetic counselor desires to surrender his or her license, the genetic counselor shall submit to the Board a sworn written statement of surrender of the license and the actual license issued to him or her. The Board may accept or reject the surrender of the license and may negotiate stipulations for accepting the surrender of the license. 2. If the Board accepts the surrender of a license pursuant to subsection 1, the Board may restore the license at a later date under such conditions as the Board deems appropriate.
