Nevada Code § 630.289

Expiration and renewal of license

1. Each license issued pursuant to NRS 630.283 expires on June 30 or, if June
30 is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, on the next business day after June
30, of every odd-numbered year and may be renewed if, before the license
expires, the holder of the license submits to the Board:
(a) A completed application for renewal on a form
prescribed by the Board;
(b) Proof that the applicant has successfully
completed at least 20 hours of continuing education approved by the National
Society of Genetic Counselors, or its successor organization, since the license
was issued or most recently renewed, as applicable;
(c) Proof that the applicant holds a valid
certification issued by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, or its
successor organization;
(d) Proof that the applicant has satisfied any
other requirements prescribed by the regulations adopted by the Board pursuant
to NRS 630.282 ; and
(e) The applicable fee for renewal of the license
prescribed by the Board pursuant to NRS
630.268 .
2. The Board shall send a notice of
renewal to each licensee not later than 60 days before his or her license
expires. The notice must include the amount of the fee for renewal of the
license.
