1. The Board may issue a temporary license to practice perfusion in this State to a person who has not yet obtained the certification required pursuant to NRS 630.2691 but who: (a) Has completed an approved perfusion education program; (b) Files an application; and (c) Pays the required fee. 2. A perfusionist shall supervise and direct a temporarily licensed perfusionist at all times during which the temporarily licensed perfusionist performs perfusion. 3. A temporary license is valid for 1 year after the date it is issued and may be renewed once. The application for renewal must be signed by a supervising licensed perfusionist.
