1. A person applying to renew an anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter who wishes to hold a simultaneous anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of chapter 633 of NRS must: (a) Indicate in the application that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 633 of NRS; (b) Apply: (1) To renew an anesthesiologist assistant license to the Board pursuant to this chapter; and (2) For an anesthesiologist assistant license to the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine pursuant to chapter 633 of NRS; and (c) Pay all applicable fees, including, without limitation: (1) The fee for biennial simultaneous registration of an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and (2) The application and initial simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 . 2. If an applicant to renew an anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter indicates that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 633 of NRS and pays the fee for biennial simultaneous registration of an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 but does not pay the application and initial simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 within 1 year after the renewal of his or her license pursuant to this chapter: (a) The Board of Medical Examiners shall notify the anesthesiologist assistant that he or she is required to pay to the Board the difference between: (1) The fee for biennial registration of an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and (2) The fee for biennial simultaneous registration of an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and (b) The anesthesiologist assistant shall pay to the Board of Medical Examiners the amount required by paragraph (a) not later than 30 days after the date of the notice provided pursuant to paragraph (a).
