Simultaneous license to practice as anesthesiologist assistant issued by State Board of Osteopathic Medicine: Application; fees

1. A person applying for an
anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter
who wishes to hold a simultaneous license to practice as an anesthesiologist
assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter
633 of NRS must:
(a) Indicate in the application that he or she
wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant
to the provisions of chapter 633 of NRS;
(b) Apply for a license to practice as an
anesthesiologist assistant to:
(1) The Board pursuant to this chapter;
and
(2) The State Board of Osteopathic
Medicine pursuant to chapter 633 of NRS; and
(c) Pay all applicable fees, including, without
limitation:
(1) The fee for application for and
issuance of a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant established
pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and
(2) The application and initial
simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant
to NRS 633.501 .
2. If a person who applies for an
anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter
indicates that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an
anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 633 of NRS and pays the fee for
application for and issuance of a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist
assistant established pursuant to NRS
630.268 and the person does not pay the application and initial
simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant
to NRS 633.501 within 1 year after the
issuance of his or her license pursuant to this chapter:
(a) The Board of Medical Examiners shall notify
the person that he or she is required to pay to the Board the difference
between:
(1) The fee for application for and
issuance of a license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant established
pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and
(2) The fee for application for and
initial issuance of a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant
established pursuant to NRS 630.268 ; and
(b) The person shall pay to the Board of Medical
Examiners the amount required by paragraph (a) not later than 30 days after the
date of the notice provided pursuant to paragraph (a).
