Nevada Code § 629.075

Provider of health care required to disclose financial interest in facility at which physical therapy is provided when making referral to or recommending facility

1. If a provider of health care refers a
patient to or recommends that a patient receive physical therapy at a specific
facility in which the provider of health care has a financial interest, the
provider of health care shall disclose that interest to the patient in writing
in a conspicuous manner.
2. The provisions of this section do not
authorize a referral or recommendation which is otherwise prohibited,
including, without limitation, by the provisions of NRS 439B.425 .
3. As used in this section:
(a) Financial interest includes, without
limitation, any share in the ownership of or profit from a facility at which
physical therapy is provided and any form of compensation from a facility at
which physical therapy is provided for a prescription for physical therapy.
(b) Physical therapy has the meaning ascribed
to it in NRS 640.022 .
