Nevada Code § 624.301

Abandonment or failure or refusal to complete or prosecute diligently project for construction; failure or refusal to comply with terms of contract or written warranty

The
following acts, among others, constitute cause for disciplinary action under NRS 624.300 :
1. Abandonment without legal excuse of any
construction project or operation.
2. Abandonment of a construction project
when the percentage of the project completed is less than the percentage of the
total price of the contract paid to the contractor at the time of abandonment,
unless the contractor is entitled to retain the amount paid pursuant to the
terms of the contract or the contractor refunds the excessive amount paid
within 30 days after the abandonment of the project.
3. Failure in a material respect to
complete any construction project or operation for the price stated in the
contract for the project or operation or any modification of the contract.
4. Failure or refusal without legal excuse
to prosecute a construction project or operation with reasonable diligence.
5. Failure or refusal without legal excuse
on the part of a licensee to comply with the terms of a construction contract
or written warranty.
