Nevada Code § 543.250

Creation in certain counties; interest not prohibited; inclusion of territory within another county

1. In any county whose population is less
than 700,000 the board of county commissioners may create districts.
2. No member of a board of county
commissioners or board of directors is disqualified to perform any duty imposed
by NRS 543.170 to 543.830 , inclusive, by reason of ownership
of property within any proposed district.
3. A district so created may include
territory within another such county, with the consent of the board of county
commissioners of the other county.
