1. The Administrator may adopt regulations
pertaining to the construction, installation and use of accessory structures
and devices which burn solid fuel and air-conditioning for manufactured homes
and mobile homes consistent with nationally recognized construction standards,
except where those standards conflict with the standards adopted under the
National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 (42
U.S.C. 5401 et seq.) and would prevent enforcement of that act in this
state.
2. As used in this section, accessory
structure includes awnings, cabanas, carports, porches, skirting or steps
established for the use of the occupant of the manufactured home or mobile home
and which depends upon the manufactured home or mobile home for some or all of
its structural support.
