Nevada Code § 483.295

Application from person previously licensed in another state; copy of record from other state becomes part of Nevada record; Department to furnish records to other states

1. Whenever an application for an
instruction permit or for a drivers license is received from a person
previously licensed in another state, the Department shall request a copy of
the drivers record from such other state. When received, the drivers record
shall become a part of the drivers record in this State with the same effect
as though entered on the drivers record in this State in the original
instance.
2. Whenever the Department receives a
request for a drivers record from another licensing state the record shall be
forwarded without charge.
