Exemption of governing body leasing portion of facility for public transportation for operation of slot machines

1. As used in this section:
(a) Governing body includes the governing body
of a political subdivision of this State and every authority composed of
representatives of those bodies.
(b) Public transportation facility means an
airport, marina, bus terminal or train station owned and operated by a
governing body.
2. The Commission may exempt a governing
body, which leases a portion of a public transportation facility for the
operation of slot machines only, from the provisions of NRS 463.160 , 463.162 , 463.167 and 463.170 , and the regulations of the
Commission relating to gaming if:
(a) The lessee who is operating the slot machines
complies with all applicable federal, state and local licensing and
registration requirements; and
(b) The terms of the lease provide for the
immediate termination of the lease upon the revocation of any license or
registration necessary to operate the slot machines.
3. The Commission may grant, deny, limit,
condition, suspend or revoke any exemption or any application for an exemption.
4. The grant of an exemption under this
section does not create any vested rights.
