Regulations requiring registration of club venue employees

1. The Commission shall, with the advice
and assistance of the Board, provide by regulation for the registration of club
venue employees and matters associated therewith. Such regulations may include,
without limitation, the following:
(a) Requiring a club venue employee to register
with the Board in the same manner as a gaming employee.
(b) Establishing the fees associated with
registration pursuant to paragraph (a), which may not exceed the fees for
registration as a gaming employee.
(c) Requiring a club venue operator to have a
written agreement with:
(1) Any third-party contractor who
provides hosting or VIP services to the club venue; and
(2) Any other third-party contractor who
provides services to the club venue on the premises of a licensed gaming
establishment and who the Commission determines must comply with the provisions
of this paragraph because such compliance is necessary to promote the public
policy set forth in NRS 463.0129 .
(d) Requiring the registration of certain
third-party contractors in the manner established for independent agents,
including the authority to require the application of such persons for a
determination of suitability pursuant to paragraph (b) of subsection 2 of NRS 463.167 .
(e) Establishing the fees associated with
registration pursuant to paragraph (d), which may not exceed the fees for
registration as an independent agent.
2. Except as otherwise provided by
specific statute or by the regulations adopted pursuant to this section, a club
venue employee shall be deemed to be a gaming employee for the purposes of all
provisions of this chapter and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto that apply
to a gaming employee.
