1. A person shall not manufacture or distribute a plastic bottle or rigid plastic container unless the appropriate symbol indicating the plastic resin used to produce the bottle or container, as provided in NRS 444.437 , is molded into or imprinted on the bottom or near the bottom of the bottle or container. 2. A person who violates subsection 1 shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 for each violation.
