Powers of health authority; abatement of construction camp as public nuisance

1. The health authority shall administer NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, and the State Board of
Health or local boards of health shall have full power and authority to declare
and prescribe such reasonable standards and regulations as will tend to insure
the observance of NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive.
2. The health authority shall secure the
enforcement of the provisions of NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, and for such
purposes the health authority shall have the right:
(a) To enter upon either public or private
property within the State to determine whether or not there exists upon such
property any camp to which the provisions of NRS
444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, may
apply.
(b) To enter and inspect all camps within the
State of Nevada wherever the same may be situated, and to inspect all
accommodations, equipment or paraphernalia connected therewith.
(c) To enter upon and inspect all adjacent land
surrounding any such camp to determine whether or not the sanitary and other
requirements of NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, have been or are being
complied with.
3. Any camp coming under the provisions of NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, which does not conform
to the provisions of NRS 444.130 to 444.200 , inclusive, is hereby declared a
public nuisance and if not made to so conform within 5 days or within such
longer period of time as may be allowed by the health authority, after written
notice given by the health authority, shall be abated by proper action brought
for that purpose in the district court of the county in which such camp, or the
greater portion thereof, is situated.
