1. When an autopsy is performed upon the body of a minor, the person who orders the autopsy shall make a diligent effort to give the parents or guardian of the minor notice of the autopsy in person, by telephone or by mail. 2. The internal organs must, if feasible, be kept with the body after such an autopsy is completed.
