Agency which provides child welfare services to provide notice of whether person will be considered for approval as adoptive parent or provider of foster care

As soon
as practicable after an agency which provides child welfare services receives
an application by a person to receive the placement of a child, the agency
which provides child welfare services shall notify the person in writing as to
whether the person will be considered for approval as an adoptive parent or as
a provider of foster care.
