Certification of complex issues to district court; temporary support. [Effective through June 30, 2026.]

Notwithstanding
any other provision of this chapter, the master may certify a proceeding to
establish an order for support of a dependent child or arrearages to the district
court if the issues are complex or beyond the competence of the master. The
master shall enter a temporary recommendation for support in such cases. The
temporary support must be paid to the enforcing authority and held until final
resolution of the case.

chapter, the judicial officer may certify a proceeding to establish an order
for support of a dependent child or arrearages to the district court if the
issues are complex or beyond the competence of the judicial officer. The
judicial officer shall enter a temporary recommendation for support in such
cases. The temporary support must be paid to the enforcing authority and held
until final resolution of the case.
