Claims and expenses

1. When any justice of the peace is
entitled to receive necessary traveling expenses for the transaction of public
business, the board of county commissioners shall allow the justice of the
peace the same per diem allowance and travel expenses as are provided for state
officers and employees generally.
2. Any justice of the peace presenting a
claim to the county for any expenses allowed by law shall attach itemized
vouchers and receipts for the same to his or her claim, and the boards of
county commissioners of the several counties are prohibited from allowing such
claim unless accompanied by vouchers and receipts as required by this section.
