Nevada Code § 391.017

Meetings; quorum; travel expenses and subsistence allowances; payment of certain costs by school district or charter school

1. The Commission may meet at least once
each month.
2. A majority of the Commission
constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
3. The members of the Commission are
entitled to the travel expenses and subsistence allowances provided by law for
state officers and employees generally while attending meetings of the
Commission.
4. Any costs associated with employing a
substitute teacher while a member of the Commission who is a teacher attends a
meeting of the Commission must be:
(a) Paid by the school district or charter school
that employs the member; or
(b) Reimbursed to the school district or charter
school that employs the member by the organization that submitted the name of
the member to the Governor for appointment pursuant to paragraph (a), (b) or
(d) of subsection 5 of NRS 391.011 .
