Appropriations for career and technical education: Acceptance and disbursement of money

1. The State of Nevada accepts the
provisions of, and all of the money provided by, the Vocational Education Act
of 1963, and any amendments thereof or supplements thereto.
2. In addition to the provisions of
subsection 1, the State Board may accept, and adopt regulations or establish
policies for the disbursement of, money appropriated by any Act of Congress and
apportioned to the State of Nevada for use in connection with the program for
career and technical education.
3. In accepting the benefits of the Acts
of Congress referred to in subsections 1 and 2, the State of Nevada agrees to
comply with all of their provisions and to observe all of their requirements.
4. The State Treasurer is designated
custodian of all money received by the State of Nevada from the appropriations
made by the Acts of Congress referred to in subsections 1 and 2, and the State
Treasurer may receive and provide for the proper custody thereof and make
disbursements therefrom in the manner provided in the Acts and for the purposes
therein specified on warrants of the State Controller issued upon the order of
the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
5. On warrants of the State Controller
issued upon the order of the Superintendent of Public Instruction pursuant to
regulations or policies of the State Board, the State Treasurer shall also pay
out any money appropriated by the State of Nevada to carry out the provisions
of this section.
