Designation of other agencies in Executive Department of State Government as automatic voter registration agencies by Governor; notification

1. The Governor may designate any agency
in the Executive Department of the State Government not described in paragraphs
(a) to (e), inclusive, of subsection 1 of NRS
293.5768 as an automatic voter registration agency if the agency collects
in the regular course of business from a person applying to the agency to
receive any service or assistance sufficient information that demonstrates a
person is qualified to vote pursuant to NRS
293.485 , including, without limitation, proof of identity, citizenship,
residence and date of birth.
2. Upon the designation of an agency as an
automatic voter registration agency pursuant to subsection 1:
(a) The Governor shall notify the Secretary of
State; and
(b) The Secretary of State and the automatic
voter registration agency shall comply with the provisions of NRS 293.57686 .
