Nevada Code § 284.108

State as Model Employer Program: Legislative intent

The Legislature finds and declares that:
1. It is the policy of this State to be a
model employer for persons with disabilities.
2. The intent of establishing the State as
a Model Employer Program pursuant to NRS
284.109 is to provide agencies in the Executive Department of the State
Government a framework for recruiting, hiring, promoting and retaining
qualified persons with disabilities.
