Election and qualification of certain county officers to be certified to Secretary of State

Within
10 days after the election or appointment and qualification of any county
officer authorized by law to take acknowledgments or administer oaths, the
clerk of the board of county commissioners of each county shall certify, under
seal, to the Secretary of State the fact of election or appointment and
qualification of any such officer in that county. The certificate shall be
filed in the Office of the Secretary of State as evidence of the official
character of such officers.
